Simply put, this is a set of four poplar slices that were salvaged from a friend's tree felled in a storm.  

The rough dimensions of are 6.0" diameter by 1.0" high for each tray.  The set weighs 2.0 lbs.  A food safe and water resistant finish has been applied.
